Derek cares deeply about students and colleagues.
Derek goes so far as to bring breakfast every day to one bring breakfast to one
student in particular because he knows that this extra show of care is key to this students' daily success.
He always made gym and my time at PHJH so fun. I looked forward to his jokes and banter each day.
