Re: Polar Plunge Fundraiser for Special Olympics
From: Mr. Kevin Jehl

The Polar Plunge will take place tomorrow! Mr. Jehl spoke to Julia Fiechter of Indiana Special Olympics, and she shared some updated information.

Due to the weather events this week, and the fact that police, fire, and city workers are extremely busy, the format has been changed. The plunge will not take place in a large tank of water. Instead, plungers will leap into snow piles or smaller swimming pools.

EAU is still planning to attend! Plungers should meet Mr. Jehl and Mrs. Eichenauer inside the events center, (Parkview Field, Right Field Area) at 10:45am. Make sure to bring any money raised and your waiver. Also, bring warm, dry clothes to change into afterward.

Even if you have raised less than $50.00, you may still plunge! If you raised money online, bring a printout. We will register our EAU team and plunge right at 12:00pm.  This event will end by 1:30pm.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Mr. Kevin Jehl at kjehl@eacs.k12.in.us, or call/text Mr. Jehl at 260-249-0669.
