Hello EAU Parents/Guardians and Students! We would like to welcome our new freshmen students/parents and welcome back our returning sophomores, juniors, and seniors! We are very excited to begin our 6th year and hope you are as well. Please read this entire announcement for all the important information regarding online registration as well as on-site registration.

See below for EAU On-Site Registration Dates. Once again, we are going to invite freshmen to come at a separate time for registration so they will have the opportunity to walk around without a lot of other students. We will also have teachers available and upper class students to help with lockers and finding classes. Regarding schedules... they are accessible through RDS BUT are subject to change. Students, please use the schedule that you receive at registration!
August 1st: 12:00-3:00 p.m. - Registration for 9th graders ONLY
August 1st: 3:00-5:00 p.m. - Registration for 10th graders
August 1st: 5:00-7:00 p.m. - Registration for 11th graders
August 2nd: 8:00 a.m. -12:00 p.m. - Registration for 12th graders
August 2nd: 8:00 a.m. -12:00 p.m. - Registration for all grades 9-12 who have not yet attended
*Please make sure you bring the following: emergency contact information and student's social security number (especially for incoming freshman - this is needed for students to take VU Courses!)
**Note: These are suggested times to help with congestion at the registration tables and computer lab. You are free to come in during whatever time fits your schedule after 3:00 on the 2nd. Remember, we are asking that the 12-3 time on the 1st be for the incoming 9th graders only; please understand that if you come during that time and are not an incoming 9th grade parent, you may have to wait a little while.
If you cannot attend registration on the 1st or 2nd, you must contact Ms. Antrim to set up a time to come in on the 3rd, 4th or 7th. There are no early registrations as we won't have all of the materials until the 1st. Ms. Antrim's first day back will be Tuesday, July 25th.

Note: You MUST do online registration either at home or here at the school IN ADDITION to coming in to the school to register!!!

You may access online registration beginning Monday, July 24th. If you are new to the district and did not get your Parent Access set up with Mrs. Thompson during enrollment, you will need to complete the online registration here at school. If you do it here at EAU, you will need to go to Room E100 which is the computer lab at the top of the ramp before coming to the registration table.

***Please note that we do not offer a school supply list. We have too many classes with differing needs, so students will receive that information during their first days of school. They should plan for the basics to start: college-ruled paper, folders/binders, pens, pencils, colored pencils, and scientific or graphing calculator (depending on math course).

August 3rd: Early College Kick-Off for Incoming 9th graders ONLY (click here for more information)
August 8th: FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL!!!! We begin at 8:50 sharp!!
August 9th: Collaboration Day (students dismissed 30 minutes early)
August 10th: 5:00-7:00 p.m. EAU Open House (classroom visits will be available)
August 16th: Collaboration Day (students dismissed 30 minutes early)
August 23rd: 6:30-7:15 (tentative) Senior Information Meeting for Parents (students also welcome)
August 25th: Picture Day
September 4th: No School (Labor Day)
September 12th: No School (District In-Service for teachers)
Other Important Information
Technology Fees: At a public meeting on June 6th , 2017, the East Allen County School Board of Trustees reduced the student iPad technology fee from $131.13 to $92.00 for this school year. They also reduced the general technology fee from $11.00 to $5.00. These fees will be a part of the textbook fees for this school year. Please note that technology fees are used for the direct benefit of students to assist them in meeting the educational objectives of their academic programs.
Book Bag District Policy: A student's person, book bag, possessions or belongings may be searched under the same standards of reasonable suspicion that govern the search of a student's locker. Book bags should only be used for transporting school supplies to and from school. Book bags, coats and large purses shall remain in lockers throughout the school day. Bags needed for gym that are carried in the hallway must be clear or "see through".
