EAU Students and Staff Plunge to Benefit Special Olympics!

On Saturday, February 8th, East Allen University students and staff participated in the Polar Plunge event at Parkview Field to benefit the Indiana Special Olympics.  Participating students included Megan Meadors, Taylor Swope, Breanna Bestul, Alex Hutchins, Brooklyn Boatright, Domenyk Stier, Vanessa Payton, Kennedy Thompson, Brittanie Wilson, Seth Dawson, Malerie Schrader, Alyssa Kurtz, Latajsha Tolbert, and Angel Upshaw. Participating staff members included Mrs. Shannon Eichenauer, Mr. Derek Bethay, Mr. Kevin Jehl, and Mr. Doug Hicks. Ms. Melissa Rangel was also present as the event photographer.

At this event, EAU earned a trophy for the largest team, and raised over $1,500.00 to benefit the Indiana Special Olympics! WAY TO GO, EAU!
